After having contacted the Special One earlier in January before deciding to appoint Eddie Howe, Newcastle United continue to push for José Mourinho, reports from England claim.

According to Express, despite Howe’s excellent work at the club so far, Newcastle want to find a way to convince José Mourinho to return to the Premier League.

The Portuguese coach, however, has already rejected their offer once in January.

Moreover, Mourinho recently reaffirmed his focus on Roma and stated his satisfaction with the capital club’s long-term project.
