Reports from England suggest Roma are seriously interested in Man City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

England international Kalvin Phillips is being linked with a permanent departure from City after his recent loan at West Ham United.

Following the latest loan experience in the Premier League, Phillips has now been proposed to clubs in Serie A.

According to English news portal GiveMeSport, Roma are seriously interested in the ex-Leeds player.

The Giallorossi are seeking reinforcements in the midfield and Phillips seems to represent a strong profile that Roma boss Daniele De Rossi likes.

The news portal further reports that Roma would not want to spend the £45 million price tag Man City have fixed on the 28-year-old.

For the time being, Roma prefer to wait and see whether City will be forced to lower their demands.
