After the departure of Alisson to Liverpool, Roma are now searching for a replacement for the Brazilian, with PSG’s Alphonse Areola in pole position to replace him.
As reported by French outlet parisunited.net, Areola would prefer a loan move away from PSG and not a permanent switch, who still has his heart set having a future at the Parisian outfit. Reportedly, Areola will have a discussion with his agent to discuss the options available to him given the presence of newly acquired Gianluigi Buffon at the club. The player is on holiday in London and then the Philippines following France’s World Cup triumph, however, it’s also not out of the question that Areola could even sign a contract extension.
