Roma midfielder Nemanja Matic is reportedly eyeing a move to Stade Rennais.
The Serbian veteran was recently approached by the French club who offered him a high-paid long-term deal which will require him to depart the capital club less than two weeks before the start of the new season.
According to French news portal L’Equipe, Stade Rennais are optimistic about the deal having already reached an agreement with regards to the salary and length of contract with Matic’s entourage.
Roma do not intend to let the player leave on a free and are seeking at least €5 million.
The two clubs have reportedly initiated talks for Matic’s transfer.
