The injury suffered by Robinio Vaz during one of Roma’s final training sessions appears to be less serious than initially feared.
The young French striker suffered a torn collateral ligament in his right knee, a problem that will force him to temporarily interrupt his summer training.
According to Foot Mercato journalist Sébastien Denis, the 2007-born player’s recovery time could be shorter than initially expected.
He’s estimated to be out of action for around two weeks, thus avoiding a longer layoff that could have severely impacted the start of his season.
