With a contract that expires this summer, Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Götze is one of the names that Roma is interested in.

Bild reports that the 27 year-old is looking for a move abroad and that Italy is a potential destination – with the Giallorossi as well as Inter and Napoli interested in his services.

Roma has already initiated contact with the German’s representatives as they look to fend-off competition from not only fellow Italian clubs, but also Premier League sides.

Götze has 19 appearances and 3 goals in all competitions this season – however, he has only played a total of 596 minutes under manager Lucien Favre.

The former Bayern man has featured primarily from the bench this season and is seeking a more important role in his next team.
