German outlet Kicker has reported that Patrik Schick is likely to return to Roma at the end of the season, whenever that may be, following his loan at RB Leipzig.
Up until a few weeks ago, it seemed like a certainty that the German side would keep the Czech attacker at the club. However, with the uncertainty brought upon by the Coronavirus, Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche appears unwilling to spend €29 million to make Schick’s move permanent when the club’s revenues and incomes are likely to be greatly affected.
The former Sampdoria man has 7 goals and 3 assists in all competitions for Leipzig and has thrived under manager Julian Nagelsmann.
