Atletico Madrid have returned on the tracks of Paulo Dybala whose future at Roma remains uncertain.

The Spanish giants are among some of the clubs to have made inquiries for the Argentine forward leading up to this summer.

Dybala’s contract with the Giallorossi is still valid for one more year. However, there is a release clause of €12 million in his current deal which applies for all clubs outside of Italy.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Atletico – who had been linked with the ex-Juve man last year – have renewed their interest in him and are ready to pay the aforementioned fee.

The player is highly wanted back with the team for next season by Daniele De Rossi who is set to lead Roma for at least the next two years.

However, at the moment there have been no negotiations over a new contract between Dybala’s entourage and Roma, giving Atletico Madrid a slight advantage as the season winds to an end and Dybala will inevitably make his own considerations for the future.
