From Spain: Barcelona attacker Carles Pérez joining Roma


After a long, drawn out tug-of-war — it appears that Roma have and Barcelona have finally reached a definitive agreement on the transfer of Carles Pérez.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that the Catalan side has finally relented and will not retain a buyback option for the attacker. Instead, the Blaugrana will be given a first right of refusal on the future sale of the Spaniard should he ever leave the Giallorossi.

Pérez will, reportedly, arrive in the Italian capital tomorrow to sign his contract with Roma and officially complete his move to Paulo Fonseca’s side for a a fee worth 15 million.
