Roma have reportedly formulated their first offer for Portuguese attacker Gonçalo Guedes of Valencia, reports from Spain claim.
According to Spanish outlet Golsmedia, the capital club have continued to make contact with the Spanish side and Guedes’ entourage over the past few months.
The Giallorossi have reportedly offered €25 million plus either Amadou Diawara or Gonzalo Villar – two players Valencia are rumoured to be interested in – for Guedes.
For now, the deal is on hold, as Valencia’s asking price of €40 million is considered too high by Roma.
The club will continue to make contact with Guedes’ entourage.
