Roma are working on a surprise deal for 16-year-old Buba Sangare of Spanish side Levante.
Sources from Spain claim the negotiations are at the final stages between the two clubs.
According to Deportes COPE Valencia, Levante are finalizing Sangare’s sale to Roma.
The agreement for the 16-year-old Spain international can be closed at around €1.2 million although the player has a €2 million clause.
Real Betis were also interested but Roma are now in pole position to sign the young fullback.
In the last season Sangare collected 3 appearances between La Liga and Copa del Rey; he was the youngest debutant with the Levante shirt.
