From Turkey: Galatasaray want Çetin on loan

Turkish outlet Fotomaç has reported that Galatasaray are interested in bringing in a defender in January and one of the names that has caught their eye is Roma’s Mert Çetin.

Gala recently lost defender Christian Luyindama to a torn ACL and are looking for a replacement. The Turkish side have proposed to Roma a dry loan until June for the player, who joined the club in the summer. However, given that Giallorossi defender Juan Jesus is for sale and could leave the club this month, it’s most likely that Çetin will remain with Roma despite having made only 4 appearances for the team this season.
