Frosinone manager Eusebio Di Francesco shared his thoughts on next weekend’s league meeting with former employers Roma, while also praising the influential role of new manager Daniele De Rossi.

Following his side’s 5-1 loss to Fiorentina, Di Francesco was asked about the showdown against his former side, whom he managed from June 2017 until March 2019, evoking a mix of nostalgia and sentimentality.

“For me, playing against Roma will always be something special,” he told DAZN.

“As for De Rossi, he’s always been an excellent communicator and he’s doing an excellent job. It’s evident a unique dynamic has been created between himself and the players.”

He added, “He’s very good at this, it’s something he was doing even during his playing days as captain.”
