Roma are being linked with Fiorentina star Gaetano Castrovilli who is set to leave the Viola after failing to renew his contract.

As the Giallorossi continue their search for midfield reinforcements ahead of next season, with the likes of Nahitan Nandez reportedly closing in on a move to the Italian capital, Gaetano Castrovilli is said to have been offered to Roma, among others.

According to Corriere della Sera, Castrovilli – who recently returned from a long absence following an ACL injury suffered last year – is looking for a new team to join.

Talks with Fiorentina over a new deal have not taken off and the midfielder would like to continue playing elsewhere in Italy after his move to Bournemouth collapsed in August 2023 due to him failing his medical.
