After being linked with Roma earlier in the summer, Mauro Icardi is on the verge of returning to Galatasaray.
The Argentine striker had been rumoured as one of the potential replacements of Tammy Abraham given his willingness to return to playing in Italy.
However, Icardi seems to have changed his mind and is reportedly nearing a move back to Galatasaray.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray had been Icardi’s preference all along and managed to find an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the attacker’s permanent transfer for around €10 million.
