The latest report by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims Galatasaray made an unsuccessful last minute attempt for out-of-favor Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo on Tuesday.
According to Pedulla, the Turkish giants wanted to take advantage of the last instances of their transfer window which remained open until earlier this evening by contacting Roma for Zaniolo, who had been excluded from Mourinho’s team following his request to leave the Italian capital.
However, Galatasaray’s inquiry did not progress as desired given Roma’s elevated asking price for the 23-year-old attacker.
