Galatasaray’s president, Eden Timur, discussed the particulars of Nicolo Zaniolo’s transfer from Roma.
Following his signing in February, Timur expressed satisfaction in the way negotiations for Zaniolo went in Galatasaray’s favor.
“Zaniolo had been sold for €33 million six days before we bought him, then the transfer was cancelled,” he told Fanatik.
“We bought him on a five-year term, at half the price, for €15 million. In the last few days of the transfer market, we looked for the right conditions for the player and the club.”
