Gandini: “The Derby is one of the most important matches of the season.”

Roma CEO Umberto Gandini released an interview today to PagineRomaniste.com and discussed a variety of topics. These are his words:

How do you see the Derby next week?
It is one of the most important matches of the season like always and I have learned to appreciate it since I’ve been here in Rome. It’s a match between two teams that are doing very well and it is one of the most important clashes between the teams, who are both leaders in the league this season.

What kind of moment is Italian football in?
Certainly not a happy time, given the result of the national team, so there is a need for a thorough review of what has been done so far but, above all, to find solutions for the future.

Tavecchio decided not to resign, your opinion on it?
I have no opinion on the personal decisions of people, if Tavecchio decided this, he must have had good reasons. I think the problem goes beyond people and that it is a problem of global reflection on the system.
