Roma CEO Umberto Gandini spoke to SportMediaset after Roma’s 1-0 loss to Samp. Here are his words:
“We’re in a period that is lasting longer than it could seem. There are difficulties, these negative results have brought about insecurity. These are not the expectations we had, so we want to change course. We must do so by starting with taking each day and giving attention to the details.”
“We constantly talk with the Mister, Monchi, and everyone. It’s about the group and about all steering in the same direction so we can resume the good we did. We suffered during the strange winter break — a team like ours, which has many foreign players who spend the holiday period dispersed everywhere, had a match (against Inter) which brought forth some unhappiness. We must tackle the problem together. We must grab the reins on this season.”
