Ex-Roma and newly appointed Marseille manager Rudi Garcia spoke to L’Equipe about the contract recession talks with the Giallorossi and was critical of his former club:
“I was waiting for Roma to free me: it was not simple. They could have more class, but in the end, it was necessary to define every detail, namely, so I could take with me the staff of guys I wanted. In the end, it was I who had to give up to 50% of what I was due to start a new adventure in football. It is not a question of money, but simply one of respect for the contract I signed with the club.”
