England boss Gareth Southgate was a special spectator at the Dacia Arena in Udine last night. Southgate attended the game in order to scout Tammy Abraham and Chris Smalling in a night that saw Mourinho’s men lose 4-0 to Udinese.
After the final whistle, the Three Lions coach was interviewed by Udinese TV.
The English technician said, “I was very impressed by Udinese. They pressed high up the pitch and did not allow Roma to play their game.”
“Udinese are a really strong team. The stadium is fantastic and the hospitality is wonderful,” Southgate concluded.
