Garson and his father apprehensive of Empoli loan

Having played sparingly after Roma paid a hefty €18 million fee, the early tenure of Gerson has not gone according to script.

According to La Repubblica, Empoli have taken concrete steps to try and bring the Brazilian youngster to Tuscany. However, the player and his father, who’s also his agent, are apprehensive of this solution and aren’t willing to accept. The pair prefer to either return to Brazil on loan until June or remain with Roma. However, a return to Brazil has been rejected by Roma so the likeliest solution is the boy remains.
