Evan Ferguson will not be called up to the Irish national team.

The Roma striker will remain in the capital to continue his recovery, as confirmed by Gian Piero Gasperini after the match against Udinese:

“Ferguson isn’t fit, we hope to get someone back during the break,” the Giallorossi coach said.

The injury situation at Roma remains complex. Angelino continues to work separately, while Dybala, Bailey, and Ferguson are still recovering from their respective injuries.

Artem Dovbyk’s condition, having withdrawn early from the match at the Olimpico due to a hamstring injury, also needs to be assessed.

With the international break, Gasperini hopes to be able to rejoin some of the squad ahead of the restart of the league season: on November 23, the Giallorossi will face Cremonese, aiming to regain strength and strength to defend their position in the standings.
