Gian Piero Gasperini made it a point to reiterate his appreciation for Atalanta despite the numerous links with teams such as Roma, who are still looking for a new head coach.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of Atalanta-Lazio, Gasperini praised the Bergamaschi for being very close to him throughout the years.
“The president’s words are yet another demonstration of the excellent relationship and appreciation on both sides,” said Gasperini.
“My future? There is no problem. Everything else,” he continued, referring to rumors, “is football and football keeps on going.”
