As reported by Corriere della Sera, in a search that includes many different candidates such as Montella, Allegri, Sarri and Pioli, Gasperini’s name appears to be the first one on the capital club’s shortlist.
The newspaper reports that Gasperini enjoys the esteem of Ranieri, with whom he has had discussions in recent weeks, and above all of the Friedkins.

The only obstacle in Roma’s way could be competition from other clubs.
