Gasperini nearing Atalanta contract renewal

The search for a new manager for Roma continues as another candidate is close to being removed from the Giallorossi’s wish list. Sky Sport reports Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini is nearing a contract renewal with the Bergamo based side for three seasons until 2022 — meaning that Pallotta & Co. will now be forced to likely start from scratch after having already been rejected by Antonio Conte earlier this month.
