According to reports on the Teladoiotokyo program airing on Teleradiostereo, however, Gasperini is reportedly pushing for the former captain’s return to Trigoria.
The Piedmontese coach’s plan is to remain in the capital and be supported by the former number 10, who would (according to the coach) replace Claudio Ranieri.
Totti’s return would also lead to the search for a new sporting director: a separation with Massara at the end of the season is increasingly likely.
