Gian Piero Gasperini is ready to begin a new chapter in his career.
The 67-year-old technician will become Roma’s new head coach as he is set to sign a 3-year deal with the capital club.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Gasperini has already reached a complete agreement with Roma and is now planning his exit Atalanta.
In the next days, the manager will resolve his contract with the Bergamaschi and hold a farewell press conference where he will reiterate that the decision to leave was entirely his.
Only then will he be announced as Roma’s new manager and start planning the transfer market that awaits the Giallorossi ahead of next season.
