Genoa head coach Alberto Gilardino previewed Thursday’s match-up with Roma.
In his pre-match press conference, Gilardino analyzed his side’s chances against Jose Mourinho’s men.
“I can confirm that the team is alive, motivated and I told the boys in view of tomorrow’s match that I saw them doing well and mentally ready to compete and fight for a win,” said Gilardino.
“I see the intensity in the workouts and that’s something I like very much,” he added. “Performance and points are a necessity, they must not become an obsession but we must go and get them through the performances that the team has always been able to produce despite the results sometimes not going our way,” Gilardino concluded.
