Giorgio Perinetti, the sporting director of Genoa, spoke to Teleradiostereo and was asked about the situation for Tonny Sanabria, who is being eyed as the replacement of newly acquired Milan attacker Krzysztof Piatek. Roma are entitled to 50% of the transfer fee for Sanabria and are, reportedly, holding up talks due to wanting to earn cash from the operation, which is said to be an 18 months loan with an option to buy. These are his words:
“Sanabria will play the cup match with Betis and then we’ll see what happens. Roma are the last ones in these talks, they have to give an informal approval”.
