The former Primavera midfielder concluded his first season in Italy’s second division with 3 goals and 5 assists to his name.
His future in the capital, however, appears uncertain and the 21-year-old could leave Roma again.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the player has attracted the interest of Patrick Vieira’s Genoa.
The negotiation could get underway in the next few hours with Cherubini likely to depart Roma once more.
