Riccardo Calafiori’s transfer to Cagliari seemed at its final stages. However, as Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports, the Italian left-back is now close to joining Genoa.
Genoa reportedly entered the race for the 19-year-old a few hours ago and are now favorites to land Calafiori on a dry loan until the end of the season.
The youngster is expected to depart from the capital tomorrow afternoon and join Shevchenko’s men ahead of the weekend fixtures.
