Genoa pursuing Juan Jesus

After his proposed move to Cagliari collapsed, Juan Jesus has now caught the attention of Genoa.

Newly appointed Genoa sporting director Daniele Faggiano tried to acquire the Brazilian in the previous season when he was at Parma and will try do so again this time with il Grifone.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Inter defender is a specific request from newly appointed Genoa boss Rolando Maran, who also wanted the player last season while he was the manager of Cagliari.

Juan Jesus has only one year remaining on his five year deal with Roma, who are very keen to sell the player and remove his wages from their books.
