Genoa’s Criscito and Caicedo to miss out on Sunday’s fixture

The list of unavailable Genoa players grows more extensive with new manager in charge Andriy Shevchenko having to come up with solutions to face a hungry Roma team.

According to Il Secolo XIX, Domenico Criscito and Felipe Caicedo have been officially ruled out for Sunday’s fixture due to injury.

Genoa will also miss the likes of Maksimovic, Cassata, Fares and Kallon.

Moreover, Genoa’s top score, Mattia Destro, is also likely to not be called up – the former Roma attacker is dealing with a serious thigh injury that has kept him sidelined for the past three weeks.

Shevchenko is reportedly planning to use a 3-5-2 formation with veteran Goran Pandev leading the offensive line.
