RomaPress – Genoa attacker Eldor Shomurodov is one step away from joining Roma.
The 26 year-old will almost certainly become the next transfer market reinforcement for the Giallorossi and manager José Mourinho.
The news come after Roma executive Tiago Pinto met throughout the late afternoon and evening today with German Tkachenko, the agent of the Uzbekistan international.
After lengthy discussions, the two clubs reached an agreement on the total valuation of the transfer, which is worth “just over €20 million” according to a member of the attacker’s entourage.
The clubs are still discussing the payment structure of the deal, but Shomurodov is expected to join Roma on loan with an obligation to buy. Genoa will also receive 20% of any future fee earned from the sale of the player.
