RomaPress – After nearly a full month of negotiations, PSG midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum finally arrived in Italy early this evening to complete his move to Roma.

Greeted by roughly 150 supporters, the Dutchman and his family landed at Ciampino Airport around 17.35 CET on a private flight from Rotterdam to finalise his move to Jose Mourinho’s side on loan with an option to buy.

The former Liverpool man is moving to the capital club on loan for a fee of €2 million with the ability to make the deal permanent for an additional €8 million. As part of the deal, PSG will also pay a portion of Wijnaldum’s wages this season.

The veteran will undergo his medical examinations tomorrow morning at Villa Stuart before signing his contract and officially joining the Giallorossi.

Wijnaldum becomes the latest big addition to join Roma following the arrivals of Paulo Dybala, Nemanja Matic, and Zeki Çelik.
