After securing Paulo Dybala, Roma have identified out-of-favour PSG midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum as their next big summer objective.
The player is being forced out by Paris Saint-Germain who have offered him to the Giallorossi due to Dan Friedkin’s excellent relationship with PSG’s board.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Wijnaldum has already approved of the move and is waiting for Roma and his agents to open talks.
The Italian newspaper reports that the capital club are willing to propose for the 31-year-old a loan with option to buy for €15 million, whereas PSG insist on making the transfer permanent.
There is optimism that once negotiations are in full swing, the two clubs will find a satisfying solution.
