Georginio Wijnaldum completes Roma medicals

RomaPress – One day after arriving in Italy, midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum underwent his medical examinations this morning to finalise his move from PSG to Roma.

Accompanied by his brother Gilly, the Dutchman arrived at Villa Stuart just before 9.00 CET to begin carrying out the various tests and examinations.

After four hours, Wijnaldum emerged from the hospital after successfully completing all of the necessary scans. He’s now en-route to the Giallorossi’s training center, Trigoria, to sign his contract, tour the facility, and conduct his first interview as a member of the club.

Wijnaldum is joining Roma on loan for a fee of €2 million with an option to buy for an additional fee of €8 million from PSG, who will pay almost a third of the midfielder’s wages this season.
