The future of Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is set to unfold in the Italian capital as Roma and PSG near a full agreement for his transfer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that yesterday’s meeting in Israel between the two clubs helped bridge the gap between PSG’s demands and Roma’s plan to acquire Wijnaldum.
According to the Italian newspaper, Wijnaldum will sign with Roma on loan with option to buy which will turn automatically into an obligation once the player reaches a certain number of club appearances.
The 31-year-old has also expressed his willingness to give up several bonuses present in his current contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
The deal is nearing completion and Wijnaldum is expected to undergo his Roma medical in the coming days as the Giallorossi make their return from Israel.
