Roma are being linked with out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum in the first half of this year’s summer window.
According to French sports journalist Saber Desfarges, Wijnaldum’s entourage – entrusted with the task of finding a new team for the 31-year-old – have approached Roma.
The ex-Liverpool man is being shopped around Europe and Roma – in need of a reinforced midfield for next season – are among the teams Wijnaldum is evaluating.
PSG and Wijnaldum intend to part ways and the Dutch midfielder may even consider lowering his salary demands.
