In a shocking twist, Il Corriere dello Sport reports that the move to send Gerson to Lille may be off.
The Brazilian was set to join the French club on loan for €5 million with an option to buy for €13 million. The newspaper didn’t state a reason why, only that the deal, which looked to be closed, is now at risk of being called off.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports, though, that the move is at risk due to Gerson and his entourage still not having found an agreement to personal terms with the French club. The sides will continue to talk.
