Getafe enter race for Borja Mayoral

Borja Mayoral continues to draw interest from Spain as more become active in this January window.

According to Spanish journalist Gemma Santos of COPE, the 24-year-old is being monitored by Getafe.

The Spanish side like Mayoral and consider him a cheaper alternative to their preferred target – Real Madrid’s Mariano Diaz.

The future of Mayoral remains unclear: the attacker has been in talks with Fiorentina since the beginning of the season and his limited playing time thus far may push the player’s entourage to pressure Roma and Real Madrid in interrupting the 24-year-old’s loan in the Italian capital.
