Roma attacker Felix Afena-Gyan was one of the protagonists in last night’s scoreless draw between Ghana and Nigeria. The former Primavera player got his first start under the guidance of Ghana coach Otto Addo.
Addo applauded the youngster’s performance in the post-match press conference.
“Felix did really well,” he said. “He created a lot of chances, very good ones too.”
“Defensively he gave all he had. A lot of good pressure situations, he did exactly what I wanted him to do, just unlucky that he didn’t score.”
He concluded, “This guy is 18 years old and he’s a diamond.”
