Roma’s new technical director, Florent Ghisolfi, is ready to begin his term in the Italian capital.
The executive landed at Fiumicino Airport on Monday evening and today will mark his first day in Roma’s offices in Trigoria.
After spending the last year in Nice, Ghisolfi was identified as the right man for the job to take over the vacancy left by former General Manager Tiago Pinto.
With his vast experience in Ligue 1 and a reliable scouting network, the ex-Lens and Nice sporting director was the one to impress Roma’s ownership.
A few weeks ago, the 39-year-old executive penned a deal until 2027 with the capital club.
Today, Sky Sport reports that Ghisolfi is set to hold his first meeting with the Friedkins as well as Roma CEO Lina Souloukou and coach Daniele De Rossi.
The meeting will serve to address the club’s transfer plans and establish the budget Ghisolfi will be working with this summer.
