Primavera Giacomo Faticanti is reportedly close to making the decisive leap to the first team next season.

Following in the footsteps of Nicola Zalewski and Edoardo Bove, Faticanti is expected to be incorporated in Roma’s preseason training in order to be relied upon when needed during the upcoming campaign, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Mourinho is already familiar with Faticanti, having monitored him in training and in his appearances for Italy’s U19 team.

Other Primavera players who might make their senior debut this year include Nicolo Pisilli and Luigi Cherubini.
