Following his senior debut with Roma on Thursday night against HJK Helsinki, Giacomo Faticanti’s father, Paolo, spoke about his son’s ambitions and his love for the Giallorossi colours in a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It is a moderate satisfaction, it’s just the beginning for Giacomo and there’s plenty of work left to do,” he said. “We have to take it slow and not get too excited. I spoke with him after the game, he was very happy.”
“Mourinho is a magnetic coach, he has such a strong personality that he often doesn’t even have to use words to get his message across to the players.”
“A wish? I wish my son can become a starter for Roma in a couple of years,” he concluded.
