Gianluca Mancini after 3-1 loss to Inter: “Episodes made the difference tonight.”

Roma defender Gianluca Mancini recognised the team’s mistakes despite a good performance against a strong opponent in tonight’s loss at the San Siro.

“Episodes make a difference, as always in these big games,” he told the club’s official channels.

“The ball doesn’t go in this year for me, I can definitely do better because I have the skills.”

“Sometimes the goalkeepers work wonders, sometimes the ball goes out by a finger or two like this evening and in Naples.”

“We are aware of our strengths, of what we have put on display in the last few games. Today we conceded two goals on the counter, one on a corner kick. Let’s think about Thursday.”
