Roma defender Gianluca Mancini could be facing suspension following the events that took place in the aftermath of the game against Lazio.

Mancini was in fact seen waving a flag with Lazio colors and a rat on it as he celebrated the Giallorossi’s 1-0 victory in the Derby della Capitale.

This particular episode is currently being investigated by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office who took issue with Mancini’s behavior, similarly to FIGC.

According to Il Messaggero, Mancini is at serious risk of receiving a fine and having to face one round of suspension.

The maximum penalty in this scenario is disqualification, a price to pay for having become the absolute protagonist of a decisive match for the future of the club. The three points in the derby, Bologna’s draw in Frosinone and Cagliari’s victory over Atalanta have brought the Giallorossi closer to the Champions League.
