Roma defender Gianluca Mancini was asked to address his side’s potential going into tonight’s league match-up with Lecce at the Stadio Olimpico. Mancini did not shy away from repeating what he told his teammates at San Siro against Inter.
“I think we have the potential to be a very strong team,” he told DAZN before tonight’s kick-off. “What I told my teammates then was strictly related to the context of the game we were playing.”
“But there is a feeling that we can be great. We analyzed the loss with Betis which we suffered right after winning at San Siro.”
“Tonight is a new day and we have to win,” he concluded.
