Roma defender Gianluca Mancini was clear when discussing the importance of tonight’s showdown against Napoli.
The two sides square off this evening in the Italian capital in what is a must-win fixture for both.
“We know tonight is an important game, there’s plenty of reasons. As always, we will try to give our everything,” he said to Roma TV before kick-off.
“We must take things one game at a time, but advancing in the Europa League could give us a boost. But tonight we’re worried about Napoli, we’ve prepared well for them and we’ll try to grab all three points.”
He concluded, “Every match for here on out is crucial. Napoli has strong attackers but we’ll try to make it tough for them.”
